New Life Church was started as a response to God’s prophetic leading and we continue to seek to follow God’s lead as a Church.
A couple of the main prophecies that are shaping our Vision are:
First I saw a cartoon type picture of a town, just a few buildings all wonky and with broken windows and dirt around. Not a nice place to be ! Then I saw a crowd of people appear underneath the town, with the leader at the front and his arms in the air, supporting the town above which became straight and clean and thriving.
We feel God was saying that we as a church, fully behind our leader, are being called to be a foundation on which the town will be restored. Not just buildings looking nicer but more that the community will have something strong and truth based on which to stand and be firm, and relationships/families will be restored.

A word that was spoken over Guy, our current Church Leader, in a Sunday Church meeting at New Life in May 2008 , was as follows:
(Sunday 25th May 2008). The Lord is challenging you , you have a challenge in your life read Joshua 1 and do not worry the Lord is saying “I am with you, it is my purpose and I am going to push you up. There is something waiting for you.”
The importance of Joshua 1 was then later spoken over Guy again at a regional prayer meeting for New Frontiers in October of 2009, by a Leader of a large City Church.
Guy now leads the Church here in Biggleswade and God has continued to speak to him in particular from Joshua 1:6-9.
We believe as a Church family that Guy has been chosen by God to continue the good work started by Scott Else, the former Leader, and help bring in the promises that God has spoken over this Church.
Our vision is ….
| 1. | We want to build a dynamic, relevant and vibrant Church that will love God and worship Him together. |
| 2. | We want to build a community that will support, love and care for one another; a community where we can laugh together, cry together, celebrate together and generally be real. |
| 3. | We want to build a community that seeks to reach out to those who do not yet know Jesus, a community that seeks to bring God’s good news to the poor and hurting; a community that is looking to fulfill the great commission; a community that seeks to build strong families and promote strong marriages. |
| 4. | We want to build a community that is looking to reach the nations through our relationship with Newfrontiers, but also send people to serve communities and people that have yet to hear the Gospel. |
| We want Jesus to be at the centre of all of the above and believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit working through us God’s Kingdom can be expanded in Biggleswade and beyond. |
